As above – is it possible to convert a lever actuated post to remote control?

    TIA,

Yes, I did it – the remote kit comes with a small metal rod to knock out the pin which the lever pivots on – istrucrtions are clear but the removal and refitting of the pin is hard work.

As Yoshimi said pretty easy to perform with just replacing the pin being the only very slightly tricky part. Make sure you get it in straight to start with!

Strangely for a company with asthetically beatuiful products (whatever the funactional ability) the instructions are terrible and very poorly presently.

I am trying to refit the lever (changing back from remote for now)

I cannot work out how the little spring is supposed to work – anyone any help?

A photo showing orientation of said spring would be ace!

Mr MC can tell you later (he’s at work at the minute). Christmas Mr MC bought me a Joplin seatpost with the lever and he converted it to have the remote lever. Don’t even ask me how it’s done! I’ll get him to post later if it’ll help anyone. I love my Joplin now I don’t know how I’ve survived 17 years of MTBing without it 😉
