Anyone know what happened to this guy. He built some wheels for me in the mid 90s. Still running true now. Top service for customers too.

Well, I may be getting him mixed up with someone else but I think he may have become disillusioned with the BS around bicycles and moved on to golf BS.

He did make some good wheels though. I have an old set still going strong…..or where they the ones stolen a few weeks ago.

Mmmm… Moved on to golf BS. That's drastic. I think he should do a comeback. Is there anyone around now with a similar approach? Those wheels were made with lurve…

Probably not but it can be tricky to sort the good from the bad without having to sample the bad.

Yep… one of life's dilemmas.

and a set of wheels feels a bit like a marriage sometimes… from the frame's point of view anyway.
