people usually make some sort of attempt to attach a gear box and drive the road wheels.

gosh.

you wouldn't want the front end to lift much or you'd be gouging chunks out of the tarmac with the prop.

๐Ÿ˜ฏ How does he keep the front down? years ago a mate of mine put a Porsche air cooled flat six in a beetle and you could lift the front of the car two foot off the ground with one hand..

Bloke i know has built a Porsche Cayenne 4x4 engine/gearbox & running system into a 1967 VW camper van, after totally rebuilding the bodywork with a rounded fully glassed back end he now has what is possibly the only 4x4 split screen camper in existence..
