    1. Had some of this stuff left over from a DIY project.

    2. Had a spare pair of insoles

    Covered 2 with 1 and was pleasantly surprised. Certainly kept the cold out from the cleat bolts and vents in the sole of my shoes. Best bit is that they are interchangeable for different weather and MTB/Road shoes. Cost me nowt but worth a fiver.

    Going to try and add a bit more to the toe box for next time…

    How do you fit that lot inside your cycle shoes? 😉

    Will get a photo tonight. Not that exciting. Just lay tape heal to toe and fold over excess. I found it helps to cut the overhanging bit every inch or so, so that it folds around corners more neatly.

    Conduit tape is good for sealing over the cleat plates, helps with that cold spot

    Tin foil in shoes works a treat 🙂
