Not really in the market at the moment, just curious, how do the Italian road bike manufacturers stack up against each other reputation wise?
    Cinelli, Colagno, Pinarello, Tifosi etc.

Any a great deal worse than any other, Colagno backed up with a lot of history?

I think Tifosi are Chicken's, a UK distributor, in house brand and made in the Far East, but then again so are lower range colnagos.

My LBS stopped dealing with Pinarello and Colnago as he had nothing but problems with them – crap dealer support, loads of warranty issues.

On the other hand I think Pinarello might have got a bit better since the Team Sky deal, they seem to be quite popular at the moment.

Also (IMO), the colour schemes on most Italian bikes look like a cross between a kid with a crayon and an explosion in a paint factory.

When ya in the market check out Race Scene in Barnsley for Italian thorughbreds like Somec and Gios. Way above ya big mainstream brands in Italian exotica. Also check out De Rosa too for some Artisan…
