Noticed the front of the sole on my sidis has come away a bit, i thought a bit of superglue would solve that.

Found the super glue but couldn’t get the top off, you would have thought they would come up with a better top for something designed to stick everything together?

Anyway got a pair of scissors and cut the bottom of the tube off. unsurprisingly i now have superglue all over my hands.

Are there any ways of removing the glue before i do something stupid. like hit the wrong key on this keyboard?

Put more on and lick it. The combination of glue and saliva is a great adhesive remover bizarrely 😉

i use the stuff near enough everyday in window fitting. i use warm water and soap and a pumice stone.

Superglue wont last long on the shoes though as water breaks it down even when dry.

I once used it to mend a sliced thumb as I’d heard that the SAS always carry it for fixing wounds. Don’t try it… It’s the second most painful thing in the world.

And when I went for a slash – about half an hour later – I glued myself to myself, intimately.

Separating a superglued thumb/cock is the most painful thing in the world. Fact.

The only thing Superglue is good for is gluing skin together. It’s what it was designed for originally.

    No it wasn’t.

We use but it’s not the same as the household stuff and you don’t put it in the wound.

IIRC superglue is catalysed by water, so not best to wet it.

OK, not the brand superglue, but it’s active ingredient was originally developed for the medical industry to glue skin during surgery.

Apparently not as it wasn’t approved for its use until ’98. Though it was used in wars.

Cyanoacrylate adhesive is what’s used in surgery, and also in forensics for showing up latent fingerprints. I use superglue all the time for sealing cuts on my fingers. I handle large quantities of paper all day and it dries the skin out causing painful splits, and paper cuts. Indispensable stuff, dab it on and blow on it to dry, job done. And by comparison to the pussy up there ^^, it doesn’t sting anywhere as much as the splits and cuts do, especially if you get positive plate developer in them. That I can personally attest to.

Hot soapy water gets rid of it easily.

Only thing I ever find gets it off is soaking my hands until the skin falls off 🙂 Or chew it off.

Hmmm, so you use superglue on windows exposed to the elements, rain (water) being one of them, I bet you have a 10 year guarantee as well 😉

    Sorry 😉

Hot soapy water, a handful of sugar will work as an abrasive, repeat, don’t touch anything valuable
