so we’ve had numerous Islabikes, with 2 boys currently 8 and 11. The eldest is growing out of his Beinn 26 samll, which will be handed down later in the summer to his wee bro. He is keen for a road bike,and majority off road stuff he does could be done on a cx bike so thinking about the Luath 700. Seems well sorted, as all Islabikes are and at £500 not bad for a ‘proper bike’. He also has a bmx for kicking about on.

any similar alternatives I shoudl be looking at ?
