I have to say there's no such thing as a cheap 4×4 unless you're able to work on them yourself and don't count fuel into it. But they're worth every penny 🙂

A new type of "What tyre?" thread needed then

I have Maxxis front, Nokian rear on my van at the moment. Seriously.

Actually thought they were better last year with the Nokians up front and the Maxxis on the back.

keep your eyes peeled for a Suzuki LJ80, they are fantastic little trucks, they look great, light as a feather and many 410/sammy parts will fit, you could even wack a bigger lump in the engine bay! they are great, I know a fella with two in a hanger, I think I may pester the bejeesus out of him for a bit 😀 😀 😀

I used to own a Fiat Panda 4×4 with snow tyres fitted great in the snow just ground clearence problems but for most of the public it wouldnt be an issue.
I have a Mitsubishi Montero 3.2DiD which I wouldnt know how it is in the snow as the probibility of it snowing hear is very unlikely ,but hoping to take a trip up to the Sierra Nevadas in Febuary
