My 4S has been a nightmare as of late.

Rather than making me want to upgrade to the newest iPhone, it’s just made me want to leave Apple. I’ve had every iphone up until the 5 and have an MPB and other bits of Apple stuff, but fancy a change.

I just bought a Nexus 7 and have been very very impressed, so a Nexus 5 seems like a good idea at the moment. Don’t want anything as big as the 6.

If any Nexus 5 owners are thinking of upgrading to a 6, let me know and I’ll likely take your 5 off your hands 🙂

Hopefully Google sell the Nexus 5s on the cheap now the Nexus 6 is due out soon.

Having all sorts of issues connecting to my car stereo for Bluetooth phone calls.

Built in obsolescence is utter bollocks.

Lightning connector ‘upgrade’?

Changing a connector standard, after 9 years, isn’t that bad.

Plus there are 30 pin > lightning adapters.

And the 30pin connector was shit.

And how is that “built in obsolescence”?

The 30-pin connector on my iPhone 4S and iPad 3 still works just fine.

It didn’t stop working when they brought out a new connector and they still sell the cables etc for the old connectors.

Updated to 8.1 on my iPad 2 about 30 mins ago.

Wasn’t loading fb or any webpages after so turned off and on again, now just frozen on initial black screen with white logo.

And on my 6+

which, fyi, isn’t bent. As I haven’t tried to bend it.

My ipad 3 is worse after ios8.
Mainly Safari issues – laggy, crashing, unresponsive. Not constantly, but enough to be annoying.
On 8.1 at the moment – hoped it’d be better after that but unfortunately not.

my ipad 3 went all strange after ios 8, did a reset all settings (not a full wipe) and its working fine again.

Iphone 4S here…slow as hell after update. Falling out of favour with Apple.

Not any noticeably slower on my 4S but the buggy selection and clipboard is really irritating me. Makes it a major chore to quote people on the forum!

8.1 and a full reset has cured all the problems I was having.
