I just got my new bike on friday and am very happy with it 🙂

I have contacted my house insurance people (the Co-op) and they said that they will only insure my bike up to £1500, this is ok for my other bikes, but my new bike cost me £3500 so i can not get it insured through my house insurance.

Where would the best place to get bike only insurance from, that will not cost me more than the earth?

I have all of mine on an additional policy that my house insurance company offered. I pay £12 for upto £7000 worth of bikes.

That is my problem my insurance dont offer an extra cover thing like that.

I dont really one to change insurance to M&S but i might do next year. 🙁

I have mine through e and l insurnace. think it costs 150 quid a year. might be a bit more for you as mine is insured for 3000.

Cheers MS, they have quoated me £220 for the year or £22 for a month, but the good thing about the monthly it will cover a new for old for 3 years insted of 2 🙂
