Best off asking the insurance company if they have any preferred lock standard.

Can't fault M&S insurance, dunno about theft but they've paid up with no fuss to replace a crash damaged frame on their 'away from home' cover and they don't seem to stipulate a locking standard, just that the bikes are in/on your property.

Its a coil lock, and it doesn't appear to be Sold Secure approved. Most insurance companies would be looking for silver at least at that value.

If its in the house ,you wil need a British Standard mortice lock fitted to front and back doors.

Ring your insurance company and ask for written details of their security requirements.
