I never get the hard core mtber’s resistance to mud guards.

No resistance to it on my part, just laziness. Tend to take my ‘second’ bike out when it’s muddy and just haven’t got round to putting the Bender Fender and Crudcatcher on it yet (or fitting my Trailrakers).
