Ideas? MrsIHN is struggling to find one that isn’t a ridiculous amount of money (like £60+) for a simple piece of kit…

See if your local Aldi have any left from their cycling promotion a week or so ago.

£60 or over is not a lot of money for something that will last for decades, I find that my gilet is worn lots, more than a jacket. Gore Bike Wear of course.

Is £60 the budget or is it just that you can’t find anything suitable for less?

    Anyway, pertex is rank!

These are brilliant though, extremely water resistant on the front but highly breathable, love mine and use it all year round! Great for cold mornings or mild Autumn/Winter days.

Mrs Yak has a dhb something or other gilet. Fits well and is used a lot. Definitely less than £60.

I’ve got one of these in a small (I’m a 8-10 normally), great bit of kit, fits in hydration pack and whipped out when needed. Keeps the wind off you so keeps your core warm but it has a mesh back so you don’t sweat too much under the backpack. £55 atm.
