Woke up today and I was convinced it was Thursday so only two days to the weekend.

But it’s Wednesday. Rubbish!

Given the bile spilled on most STW threads, the banality of this thread is positively refreshing 😉

I wish it was, because –

I have the day off on Thursday
I’ve got a mate and his family coming over for a barbecue as he’s about to emigrate to the US – and if it was today at least i wouldn’t have to swim to and from the BBQ, looking at the forecast!

I thought it was Tuesday, so I’m very pleased to discover it’s actually Wednesday…

I am very glad that Wednesday is finally here because it promises to be a very exciting day for me. Sometime between now and 7pm a lorry will might come and deliver a new dishwasher. Whoofeckinhoo.

Thursday would be sweet as that’s when I come home. As it stands, I could be here til the weekend. Ain’t no choppers flying in this:

You think you got problems. Woke up this morning convinced it was 2003 and I was back in the dusty Bolivian highlands. I’d fashioned a make-shift camp between two giant boulders to keep out the fierce Andean sun, but the nights were freezing and I couldn’t risk a fire for fear of alerting the band of roving banditos known to frequent those isolated peaks.
