    I'll be going tomorrow. Probably just around Princes St, Royal Mile etc. Need to decide if walking boots are advisable for trudging through snow & slush…

    Just got back from there today 4 pm ish … its got some snow but not too bad , i did take my walking boots and used them but only because they are waterproof and i didnt fancy wet feet while walking around sight seeing etc

    if you are going to the German market take steel toe caps, odds on somebody will stand on your toes. Worth the risk for the food.
