I spotted this gorgeous [url= http://www.aspirevelotech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=TCS118&Category_Code=PWCOGS18 ]Phil Wood[/url] 1/8th stainless cog and nearly bought it before realizing that it wont fit on my cassette hub.
I know King & Surly do 3/32 cogs in steel, but who does a 1/8th?

I trialed some stainless singlespeed cogs with Mattmagic a year and a bit ago. They proved to be much softer than steel.
There are many different grades of stainless though, so perhaps some are better than others, but in my experience the chromoly steel cogs are much more durable.
