We need to change about 150 lights to low energy ones in a workshop. We’ve got a price for the lights but now we need an electrician to intall them, I am guessing at a days work, what’s the day rate for these guys?

is it just bulb changes or fittings too?

platform/cherry picker access due to height?

15 an hour in a 10 hour day non stop sounds a bit unrealistic to me – 4 minutes per light?

Yes, you are right it does need a cherry picker and maybe 2 days! how much for all of that, is £200 a day plus £100 for the plant hire a good guess?

£100/day for the cherry picker/scissor lift.

possibly 2 people too for safety?

Why do you need a qualified sparky to change some lamps?

Where is it? Assuming commercial premises. Do the fittings need changing or just the bulbs? Could be Part P implications. Are the new bulbs / fittings part P compliant?

Budget £200 a day for qualified sparks who’ll provide required docs.

    £200/day sounds like a bargain.

😳 Not Part P, Part L2B. Lumen/Lux per Watt of the bulb.
