Free hub on a set of wheels I have is starting to go. How difficult or easy are they to change?

It very much depends on the hub/freehub.

Depends on the hub, but “not very hard” would be the usual answer

its a specialized own job. Trying to find out the exact spec of the hub / free hub from specialized at the moment.

On Shimano hubs it’s about 15 minutes job, including cleaning and regreasing the rest of the hub, plus cleaning the mess on the kitchen floor, before the wife comes back… 8)

DT Swiss you just pull it.

    Apparently.

I thought my fine office physique was the issue and gave it to the LBS, the dark looks when I returned told me it wasn’t as easy as expected.

Hope ProII is super easy. I regularly pack mine with grease to keep the bees under control.

just spoke to specialized and they told me its a specialized hub and freehub body (its from a 2010 pitch pro). I have vaguely ok mechanic skills and decent tools so think ill probably give it a go myself rather than pay £40 for the shop to do it.
