I don’t think I am being dense, but you never know!

I have had an HP Pavilion laptop for about 3 years now, it has a Blu Ray drive on it, but as I have only just got a Blu Ray player at home up until now I didn’t have anything to run on it, I tried at the weekend and am having no luck at all. The movie won’t start automatically and if I try to use windows media payer on the disc, as I would for a dvd it doesn’t like it, has anyone else had this issue?

If it’s 3 years old and a recent disk then you may need to update the bluray drivers, as the disc could be using the latest software.
