I have a Commencal Supreme DH with a Fox DHX5 coil shock. The size has rubbed off the coil. How do i find out the coil size?

    cheers for your help 🙂

check the Commencal website or measure the shock.

Do you mean the weight of the coil? Probably only way is to send it off to one of the suspension tuners and see if they can put it on a dyno or something.

Not the weight bud, just the size. So its the correct size for the shock.

In that case just measure the free length (length of the coil not under any pressure) and then make sure the internal diameter is big enough for your shock. Any of TF, Loco, Mojo, etc. will then put you right.

Shock is probably 241mmx76mm, thats 241 eye to eye and 76mm stroke. Put a ruler next to it and if these are the dimensions it will be obvious.

In which case you would need a ??? x 3.25″ if buying a fox spring.
