I haven't had one for about 6 years. Hasn't done me any harm.

Depends how hot.

Bath...bath...that's the thing girls spends hours in every evening isn't it? Everyone knows real men prefer showers

*starts planning a bubble bath*
just what my back and neck are needing.
they can't be bad for you, unless you're a lady. Ladies seem to think anything under "freshly boiled kettle" on the hotness scale is akin to an artic winter and aren't happy until they've boiled themselves red.... that's surely bad for you!

We had a new bathroom in lemmesee...1998 but I have never used the bath. Simply cba with running the water and all the faff

Not great for the love spuds, so if you're planning on some baby making action I'd stick to showers

dunno about bad for you but a long post ride soak in a proper hot bath (very pink when I get out) will completely shag my legs, no chance of riding anywhere next day, whereas a cold bath will normally atleast let me do a bit of riding next day.

They're bad for the gas/leccy bill.
What's that? Yes I am from Yorkshire, why do you ask?

The survey suggested that taking eight-minutes showers would cost an average UK family £416 a year; using a power shower would see the annual bill soar to £918.

Don't poo in the shower though. I did once, had a poorly tummy; what a mess.
Had to squish it down the plughole with me big toe. Right palaver.

Pooing in the bath is ok though.

Back in the day, when I were a lass (about 10 years old), all of the girls in my year were taken out for 'a talk' where we were told about periods and given a free gift bag containing Bodyform towels and tampons.
We were told many things about our lady caves, including that excessive bathing with soap and bubble bath disturbs the pH, and can lead to a bout of thrush. I've been paranoid about bubble bath ever since. The smiling face of Matey Bubble Bath has always struck me as being a bit sinister...
Probably not relevant to you, though.

I had a bad case of thrush once.. my dentist diagnosed it.

Laptops and showers don't mix, whereas you can use them in the bath.

Baths = silly string
That is allPosted 4 months ago # -
stoner --LMAO !!

I like hot baths, but not silly hot. They actually seem to help my recovery after strenuous exertion.
Also, apparently when subjected to intense heat or cold your body produces heat shock proteins which are amazingly good anti-oxidants. Maybe that's why Finns survive despite eating lard and chips all the time/

Good place to play at being spider man though.

Good point Yeti. You can't read the paper in the shower either. Unless you really were planning on making a papier mache cast of you're vegetable patch

I read in Smash Hits once that Elton John won't have a bath cos you "Lie in all your own filth"... hmm, well YOU DO Elton (as well as other people's eh?).
So I love baths.(Cos I hate Elton John.)

Are you talking about eyesight damaging activities in the bath??Posted 4 months ago # -
Pooing in the bath is ok though.
I did that in the bath as a very small child, apparently. I thought it was great that I had some little boats to play with.
My mum din't think it was great, however.

My son used to poo in the bath quite regularly.
Often we didn't notice until we started pouring water from the bath over his head to wash his hair. Another peril assciated with bubble bath.
