I just noticed a new red trail has been opened in Hopton Woods, Shropshire, has anyone been since its been finished and basically would you recommend going.

Yes very good – but don’t go 26-27th May there is a round of the national xc on.

The riding in hopton is ace, the red trail is only part of it. The dh tracks there are lots of fun on a trail bike too and there is more singletrack in the woods as well. Definitely worth a trip!

Have not been over since left the area before they both opened, but with limited time which is recommended – hopwood or east ridge?
