So £39 quid for a new set of official hope bearings for my wifes rear wheel. It seems a little steep but is this a good price or can I get the same SKF type bearings for less anywhere?

    Think it’s 17x28x7 (x3) & 61803 2RS (x2)

I have the same wheel aswell so think I’ll be buying 2 sets.

Second Question; I’ve just replaced 2 spokes in a wheel that had stans yellow tape on them. I just cut a small hole in the tape to replace the nipple. Can I simply apply tape over the holes (say 4″ either side) or do I have to take the old off and completely re-tape?

£18 for a pair + £3 delivery. Still not cheap.

The problem is the the 17x28x7 doesnt appear to be a standard size. The other ones you can get cheaper.

Dont know about the stans Q.

You can patch with Stans tape – just make sure that the section to be patched is thoroughly clean and grease free.

If its just the wheel bearings you only need 2 of the 5, the other 3 are for the freehub.

Be aware pro3 xc3 use different bearings to pro3 am4’s.
