It is the likes of djmb and akysurf coming out with mis-informed, half-baked, over-simplified garbage on the teachers’ strike thread that was really starting to cheese me off. I didn’t want to mention names and get in to a slanging match, but there you go :\

akysurf deserves a prize for tenacity, the thread died a couple of days ago and through hard work and sweat was able to breath a new life into it, even ernie thought it had died, now look at it.

I manage to sneak a short chat into it, it didn’t affect it at all. It’s become like an oil tanker.

It takes about two of those threads to work out who you agree with politically. After that you just let ernie, Junky and Uncle Jez smash their heads into a bloody pulp against a wall expressing that view, freeing up more time to find opportunities to talk about yourself.
