The alarm has been randomly going off for the last week and now the keys won’t lock or unlock the doors remotely and the indicator lights are all on, although the engine isn’t on, or any lights. The indicators came on when I attempted to use the remote locking key.

    ??

    Elec fault??
    Water??

Normally thats a symptom of the electrical joint underneath the drivers seat coming apart. Lift the carpet a bit and you’ll find it easily enough – its normally broken 😐

    Thanks NZCol.
Fellas at the Brickyard said the same. I’ll get me torch and investigate.

Right, found the problem as described, can I just bodge/twist the wires together as a temp. fix?
I’ve cut the corroded join away, but the alarm was still sounding – stopped after 30 secs though, so I’ll wait and see.

When mine did it i disconnected the battery for a while (overnight i think) then reconnected it to clear all the fault codes and it worked fine. I’d repaired the sh1tty wiring by then as well of course.
