thought it was a bit pricey - then i noticed you get a gold plated seat clamp and a Rapha cap thrown in - all of a sudden £999 seems a bargain......

Write to any number of chinese/taiwanese saddle manufacturers (easy to find) and you can get similar examples set out to you for a few beer tokens. I've a box full at home.
