Strange question, am looking for a new bike and thinking long term about upgrading to a reverb seatpost but cant find any stats out there saying what width the Trance takes, the model im looking at is the 2011 Giant Trance x2.

Any help would be much appreciated

Get the smaller size (30.9) and use shims for next frame,

I think giants use 31.6 but could be wrong.

30.9 on the older one so it may be the same

Wait until you’ve got the bike, reverbs won’t get any more expensive and plans can change easily.

My old Trance and Reign were 30.9mm btw, but that was a few years ago.

2012 frame I have here is 30.9mm

On my Trance 2011 it is 30.9mm don’t know about earlier models thought.

The new Giant dropper post is 30.9 to be compatible with their bikes.

Might be worth a look too.
