    I’ll be getting train to Carlisle from London with my bike on the Friday arriving midday ish.

    Other than arranging a lift, what options do I have getting the campsite as it’s approx 50miles?

    Also does much happen on the Sunday or is it worth getting an early train?

    IS carlisle only 50 miles?

    I’d have thought the train to Hexham or Newcastle and look for a bus. Or find somenoe who can pick you up in a larger town.
