If I fit an SLX double and bash – what 2 speed front mech do I need for it ?

Top swing / Low direct ??????

It may depend what frame you’re fitting it to, some FSers have clearance issues. Other than that, since they’re all dual-pull these days I don’t think it’ll matter. Probably best to get 9spd to go with 9spd rings, and 10spd to go with 10spd rings, though I doubt even that makes much difference with a double.

Thought, do you need to change the front mech, if you want to fit a bash ring I would have thought you would just re-adjust the H L screws so it only travels on the 2 rings
