  • Fork lockout, is it only me, that never uses it ?

    My problem with fork lockout is remebering to unlock the 'ker when I need it!!!!!

    I use mine for all the climbs, but I have a remote switch and normally am going up for 2-3 hours and reckon over that time it makes more a difference. Don't bother with short climbs.

    Don't use it on purpose, but on a Pike it sticks out at the right angle to be knocked on by passing shrubbery.
    I do use it on the HT for touring, with the blow off set to medium.

    I use lockout and the floodgate on my rebas & revs. light rider and like to get out the saddle on climbs.

    So, conclusion – some like it, some don't. There's no obvious correlation between who does and doesn't like it.

    It's almost like people are different 😉

    Being relatively confident of who Blazing Saddles is I would say he's being rather modest there!
