But seriously – does anything the England team have done in the last 8 or so years give you any joy? I am saddened by the demise of the national team. Give them an old VHS recording of Italia ’90 and show them passion, desire and something for the fans to laugh and cry at rather than switch off due to utter and complete boredom.

when were they ever ? there’s absolutely no history of our players being desirable outside of england. at any one time there’s never been more than a couple of the england xi playing outside of england.
