Off to the Forest of Dean next Sat for a week in our caravan. We’ll be taking our cx/gravel/trendy niche term for a big tyred disc braked drop bar bike.
Anyone got any suggestions for decent rides of a couple to 4 hours in the Symonds Yat/Coleford area? ( camping at Bracelands).
Either general suggestions or gpx would be super awesome.

The old family cycle trail is a good bet of you want gravel fire roads and old railway lines with a gravel surface. We used to ride it on rigid mtbs 20 yrs ago. Start at cannop or ride in from a few of the towns. Mix it up with some road stuff.
