I have a few cabinet locks that need some repair work. Ranging from 1820 to 1940.

Where the **** do I start with that?

Remove the rivits and start playing! Cabinet locks from that era should be quite simple.

I wondered that, but is it likely stuff worked loose or worn and in need of replacing?

Do you not realise who this is?! This is Piemonster; he devours “pomegranate seeds and toasted pine nuts” for dinner.
