As a spin off from the 70s/80s car thread.

What (production) make/model car from the movies or TV have you always wanted to have a drive of or own?

(I know it's from the shit movie, but I couldn't find a decent still from the TV series)
[img] [/img]

(Owned 6 minis of various bodyshapes as a teenager, would love to build up a properly quick original shape mini now)

(Has to be on the list surely?)

Everytime I see the Audi S8 in the car chase in Ronin, it prompts me to start hunting through Ebay to see if there's one I could afford.

Colournoise, My old 67 Mustang (same year as Bullit car, but convertible), sounded lovely, but terrible to drive compared to modern cars, the drum brakes were scarey.[IMG] [/IMG]

Unbelievable that nobody has mentioned American Graffiti

The 55 Chevrolet from American Graffiti is the same car previously used in Two Lane Blacktop.

It just doesn't look as nice when it's all cleaned up!

More info here and here.

Gives me an excuse to post another picture though ๐Ÿ™‚
