Well, for fear of looking an idiot, I'm going to fess up to liking the 'wall', but as I spent most of my youth watching the film whilst smoking a bong through a 1/4 bottle of scotch, then I'm sure you can forgive me 😆

Never listened to a full Floyd album after Saucerful of Secrets, for exactly the reasons that HeathenWoods put so well above.

Don't mean to upset anyone, but I always thought later Pink Floyd stuff was psychedelic music for part-timers and the unimaginative.

How do you know, if you've never listened to it? 🙄

Live at Pompeii is amazing. First saw it aged about 14, and was hooked.

If I'm cremated, I'd like this to be played as I roll towards the flames….

whats full time psychedelic music then? has'nt their music changed over they years and experimented in other ways, which is what its about, would be shite if it was the same from when they began..

Anything Mr Waters had an input to is good (apart from the opera Sh*te) lots of great stuff. Amused to Death is inspired (even the 3d gimmicky sound)

but I prefer Pros & Cons.

    +1 😀

Waters is a musical God, apart from the opera sh1te and so any Pink Floyd stuff that it "typical Roger" as opposed to "typical Gilmore" is great. I even like the Final Cut

There are a load of us going about with a pair of gothic wings on our shoulders in memory of Mr Saturday Night. As working class as they come and escaped the Lochee scheme life that was mapped out for him by school/family/society.Worked 60-70 hours a week as a gas fitter then travelled 6 months of the year. Cancer brought him back to the shit 10×10 bedroom on the 6th floor of Adamson Court he grew up in and that is where it finished for him.He was a head and a huge floyd fan when the rest of us were either listening to ska or the NWOBHM.His favourite Floyd song
