Anyone had much success getting Evans to price match?

My girlfriend and I are going to Evans in Castleford to try out a Commencal that is way cheaper on Merlin, but Ideally we’d like to take one from Castelford that day. Do you think they will price match it?

I’m thinking of printing off their price promise in case we have any issues in store.

Any other haggling tips greatly welcome!

Interested in this too, I’m going to give it a shot today for a different item.
I’m not holding my breath though, I’m sure they’ll find a reason not to match it.

Well I’ve double checked and it is the exact same size/colour in Merlin, so I can’t see why they wouldn’t. Let us know how you get on?

Well a week went by since I phoned Evans and still no reply – I ended up buying the item from the cheaper place. Sorted.

Their mail order is great.
