Yes that is a long post...

But worth a read...........it looks like it was a long ride - one for a boring day at work.

Magnificent.
One of the guys said he would do again in a heartbeat......but without the bike!
Dylan's bike was a fixie with an ENO hub, we rode very little downhill so it was no biggie. But I was glad to have mine with a freewheel.

Nice, but it's not obvious why they took bikes.

Makes you realise what a vast area Alaska is compared to little old england. Such a huge area, and absolutely nothing there but nature, not a single soul until they came into that one small town..
Amazing.

Awesome, and that's just skim reading it. Love the idea of taking a boat biking... or a bike boating.

superb... makes me jealous this kind of stuff (as well as inspires), it's the sort of thing my heart yearns to do, I really should crack on with some of my wildest plans/dreams and just get it done!

awesome looking trip. Not about the bikes at all really, is it. Fantastic scenery, I'd love to do something lie that.
I'm curious about the brakes- one doesn't seem to run any, the other only has rear, and v's at that. edit- just seen the fixie comment
And pedals have been removed in that pic outside the cabin- were they worried that somebody might make off with the bike otherwisePosted 2 years ago #
