    I always liked the cafe for a post ride slab of cake and a mug of tea. Sure it got busy but I never had bad service.

    It'll be a shame to see it go and I'll be intrigued to see what Skyline do with it.

    As for the trails, I've never really found them to be in a poor state. There's been some quite marked erosion in places and the woodwork keeps getting ever more sanitised, but it's the same story at Cwmcarn. Personally I prefer the trails to be rougher and less manicured, but each to their own.

    Change isn't always a bad thing!

    Higher bid for the cafe means one of two things, higher prices or lower food quality – probably both…
