I chipped a small bit off a tooth the other day, it's been annoying me (sharp on the tongue) but not painful, then at lunch today I bit something that chipped off a large section of the same tooth. Again no pain and it's one of the more rearward teeth so doesn't show when I smile.
Just rung the place I believed I was registered to and was told they had no record of me (it's been about 18months since my last checkup). Local NHS dental access centre has booked me in for the 4th May, which is a fair old wait. But they have an 'emergency' service where you can ring at 9am and book in for the same/next day if I'm in pain....
Question is do I fake the pain and get it done or hold on and wait my turn?
