  • Dirty Dan 2.0 on Flow 29er rims, will it work?Or recommend another 29er mud tyre

Need some mud tyres to go on my Rumblefish shod with Flow 29er wheels. Theoptions are the new Maxxis Beavers 2.25s, Dirty Dan 2.0 or anything else anybody can recommend.

Not sure whether the Dan 2.0 will be too narrow for my Flow rim, will be in tubeless, by the way.

Live in the Isle of Man and it’s pretty shitty here to say the least at the minute, lots of mud riding and not a lot of rock/hard pack.

    Thoughts?

    hi Robarnold
Im in the same place as you. I have some narrow mud tyres on my 26er but want some for my 29er to replace my Racing Ralphs. On ones smorgasbords seem a good all rounder – but i would prefer a set of Schwalbe Hans Dampfs 2.35s if they will fit my Rockstar…..Maxxis Beavers do get good reports too.

I’m running Hans Dampfs now for regular conditions and would say they’re pretty poor in mud. They clog quickly and don’t offer very much grip, hence the search for something more mud dedicated

I got some second hand Specialised storms off someone on here the other day. Rode with them today. Amazing.
