Bit of a long shot I know, but looking for somewhere to eat in Chablis. Going to be driving through next month on the way to the Alps so would like to have a nice meal. Anyone stayed there? Have seen a michelin starred place, but think that my fellow travellers might baulk at the price.

We went through Chablis last year. It's likely you'll baulk at the prices everywhere there (sorry, you may not - just realised how that sounds!). Nice, pretty town, good to spend 20 mins walking around - lovely church. I would stop jusy before or just after though. An actual bottle of Chablis is about 2-3 times the normal price if you get one in Chablis. Just my thoughts, though!
