Who has been to the event ? I know its only XC, but is it worth going up to watch ?

I have been to all the world cups in Fort William and I am giving it a miss this year.

On the plus side I have done very little riding in Yorkshire.

Yes, we went last year, thought it was excellent.

What other activities were going on over the weekend ?

As someone told me the racing was just on the one day.

They do need to try harder on the quality and variety of food and to get the car parking sorted, but apart from that it was a good event.

The Friday night has an excellent ‘urban’ sprint race in Pickering.

The Saturday has practice and a public ‘Dalby Dare’ Race.

Followed by the main event on Sunday.

I missed the Saturday last year and had a great time on the Friday and Sunday.

agree re food, take a picnic!

we just went for the sunday, so can’t comment on the rest of the weekend.
