I'm after some cycling shorts. Not baggy but not quite lycra tight. Close fitting I think is the word I'm looking for. Does such a thing exist?
Again apologies; not being a deviant or owt.

Apologies Houns. Beyond my price range and there doesn't seem to be room for a penis. Also not knocking cotton but yeah a better material too would help.

They're grand. I think they do other materials than just cotton (though mine are the cotton ones)…

    Maybe some Ronhill tracksters?

IMO not much looks worse than baggy lycra, but that's the look you're after?

nothing wrong with tracksters. I wear them all the time in winter. (when out for a run, offroad, alone, in the dark. obviously).

Maloja Berlin shorts – if you can find the anywhere.

Polaris used to do a Touring short, dunno if you can still get them.

After a few years in the saddle I'm well out the lycra closet, nothing else comes close, performance remains constant even when soaked to the skin. Anything baggy/nearly baggy useless when wet, esp over long distance, I've not researched the following statement (will do a retro search) but I'll bet my pearl izumi shorts the xc racers wear lycra 🙂
