…although I’m currently not loving carbon. My road bike has developed a creak of epic proportions – I cant ride it without headphones now…not necessarily material based but I’m still not loving it….its also flexy compared to my old Ali one.

I was confused but just couldn’t leave it alone. I had to pick one. In the end I picked my ‘best’* bike and ticked aluminium. even though it doesn’t get ridden as much as my steel HT, or my alloy/carbon mix gravel bike………

I think this is a universal, certainly anyone who commutes probably has a best bike that does a lot fewer miles than their commuter bike.

Mostly ali, smattering of carbon, don’t currently own a steel bike 😳
