Had a brilliant ride today – nice and sunny, cold at first but perfect conditions on the ground. Good company, and I felt good on the bike which translated to my riding – everything I wanted to do worked, it was ace.

And to top it all, I cleaned cavedale. Might not mean much to riding gods, but it’s my second ever time without a dab. It was the icing on the cake of a top ride.

i’ll appreciate your day, as no one else has. only ever ridden cavedale once in 20 something years of riding mtb and 41 years of living in sheffield. good effort.
it’s lovely to have a day when the head, heart and bike all work together.
my top ride of today was getting the highline sorted with new tyres and then riding up and down the road twice before tea.
made me want to ride it more though!

I always bottle it on cavedale, I can’t get enough confidence to carry the speed, definately a section where speed and riding loose is your friend. One day I will clear it, well done.
