    Planning my 30th birthday and was thinking of going down to S Wales afan/gower area any ideas probably sleeping 8ish nice but not too flashy.

    bryn teg guest house has a cottage is good but only sleep 6, but they have a b&b next door could take the other 2.. its very nice..

    Bryn Bettws log cabins – right on the wall trail at Afan and brilliant for a weekend.

    Oh I shall have to have a look too! Normally stay with my folks in Cardiff but want to stay somewhere so we can cram more riding in!

    I’d second JimB’s recommendation of Ty Afan – nice 15 min warm-up/cool down from the Glyncorrwg centre and easy walk to pub with food for the evenings…
