I think Asda do a photo service and will bang a load onto CD for you. Dry over Chase btw.

Do you have to hold it against the screen the "right way around" or the "wrong way around"? Should the scrren be able to see the image correctly or you?

i'll tape them all together so i can hold lots against the screen at once. should i turn the lights out in the room?

A dedicated transparency scanner does a drastically better job than a transparency lid on a flat bed scanner. If it were me I'd send the slides away to get them properly scanned.
