    in the hold, yes. But last time I did the lady at oversize baggage got upset that I had several in one bag. Spread them around if taking a few.

    To inflate his tyres I’m guessing, I put them on the plane in my bike bag.

    Flew Air New Zealand a few months back, they were explicitly excluded from allowable hold baggage. I suspect this may be a recent change though- check with your airline would be my advice.

    Easyjet took mine off me (hand luggage). You’d be fine in hold luggage though.
