If you were to fly a plane on a cloud seeding mission to make rain what plane would you use?

Wiki shows this picture – is that not an A10?

do you need any snake oil…
In the final inquiry Hydro concluded that their cloud seeding on that day didn’t lead to more rain… I though everyone else had given up

Hah, yes that’s an A10 and not what you’d use for cloud seeding

Definitely no seeding went on in 1952 over Devon.

It would be nice if A10s and all other military aircraft were only used for cloud seeding.

What a joke! Some muppet has looked at a photo of an A-10 going braaaaaaaaaap, seen the shower of spent cartridges streaming from underneath, and assumed it could be used for seeding. 🙄
All you need is a small aircraft loaded with silver iodide cartridges underneath to spray into a cloud, they even use rockets, but there’s no real indication that the process is reliable, regardless of how it’s done.
And don’t get me started on sodding chemtrails! 👿
