Searched for woods for sale and found this web site. Anybody know anything about it as it looks a bit, well not exactly immoral, or dodgy but not sure of the word. Anyway last time I went through the wood it was a really nice shortcut to get to Wharncliffe. From the website it looks like you are getting a lovely bit of nature and helping save the environment. When in fact they have parcelled up a beautiful wood and bulldozed a load of access roads through the wood destroying the nice single track paths and ambiance of the place.

Saw that the other week... you have to sign a charter about how you will use the wood. I guess someone has found a way of selling off bits of useless (in commercial terms) old woodland.
